The South Carolina Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program is a nationally accredited management development programfor public managers in South Carolina. The CPM designation is a professional credential that involves intensive study, practice, application, and testing to prepare public managers for the challenges of today's and tomorrow's workplace.

The South Carolina CPM Program was developed by the Budget and Control Board's Office of Human Resources and was accredited by the National CPM Consortium in 1996. Additional information about the National CPM Consortium can be found at the following website: www.cpmconsortium.org
